The Rioch G900 is a digital camera designed to be highly resistant to water, dust, shock and chemicals, making it ideal for use at demanding worksites and in industries such as construction, disaster relief and healthcare.
The camera is equipped with a highly sensitive 20 megapixel CMOS image sensor which captures bright, super sharp images even in low-light conditions. It's also capable of recording 4K-resolution movie clips (3840 x 2160 pixels, 30 fps).
Advanced features help you produce the best possible image and video material. Such as the Movie SR and SR+ modes, which generates a shake-reduction effect similar to the one created by a gimbal, to assure high-quality movie shooting with more active, fast-action activities.
And besides SD card slot, the G900 also comes with 6,5 GB of built-in memory, which allows for the capture of as many as 856 images at the largest image size!
Versatile lens and built-in LED ring light
Ricoh G900 has a 5x zoom lens with an angle-of-view equivalent to approximately 28-140 mm for full-frame, and a minimum focusing distance of just one centimeter. A very versatile lens suitable for a wide range of subjects.
Positioned around the lens is a multi-application ring light, featuring six LED bulbs that provide a bright, uniform illumination on the subject. Thanks to a choice of lighting patterns, it can also be used to illuminate the subject more three-dimensionally. Perfect for close ups in poorly lit environments!
Made for the toughest conditions
A contoured grip ensures a firm hold on the camera while a wide neck strap enables two-point, cross-shoulder suspension to enhance the ease of carrying and handling at worksites. And thanks to its heavy-duty construction, the G900 performs superbly and dependably in harsh, demanding conditions of various worksites.
The camera is waterproof to a depth of 20 meters and for up to two hours of continuous operation (equivalent to IPX8 or JIS Class 8). Its rugged body is shockproof against a fall from heights of up to 2.1 meters, dustproof (equivalent to IPX6 or JIS Class 6), cold-resistant to temperatures as low as -10°C, and crushproof against weights of up to 100kgf (kilogram force).
Its even designed to be highly resistant to chemicals, such as ethanol, sodium hypochlorite, and liquid chorine dioxide solutions used as fungicidal food additives.
GPS, memo and barcode scanning
The G900 incorporates a GPS module to record position data and travel log data onto captured images. And the Camera Memo function allows the user to attach a text or an audio file (30 seconds max), or even record information from barcodes and attach it to selected images!
Password-protected Camera Lock function The Camera Lock function lets the user restrict the camera’s operations, entirely or partially, by locking some features, including camera access, menu access, internal memory viewing and USB connection. The camera can be released from lock status by inputting a password using the camera’s onscreen keyboard.
